Potty Squat with Support
The potty squat with support is a bodyweight exercise that targets the glutes, with the quadriceps, hamstrings and calves assisting.

How to do the potty squat with support
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, toes pointing slightly outward.
- Hold onto a stable support, such as a chair or wall, for balance.
- Lower your body down into a squat position by bending your knees and pushing your hips back.
- Keep your chest up and your back straight throughout the movement.
- Pause for a moment at the bottom, then push through your heels to return to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Sets and reps
Start with 3 sets of 10–15 reps, resting 45–60 seconds. When every set feels easy, add reps, slow the lowering phase or move to a harder variation.
