Seated Glute Stretch
The seated glute stretch is a bodyweight exercise that targets the glutes, with the hamstrings assisting.

How to do the seated glute stretch
- Sit on the ground with your legs extended in front of you.
- Bend your right knee and cross your right ankle over your left thigh.
- Place your right hand on the ground behind you for support.
- With your left hand, gently press down on your right knee to deepen the stretch.
- Hold the stretch for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Switch sides and repeat.
Sets and reps
Hold each stretch for 20–40 seconds, breathing slowly, and repeat 2–3 times per side. Stretch to mild tension, never pain.
