Single Leg Bridge with Outstretched Leg
The single leg bridge with outstretched leg is a bodyweight exercise that targets the glutes, with the hamstrings and quadriceps assisting.

How to do the single leg bridge with outstretched leg
- Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the ground.
- Extend one leg straight out in front of you.
- Engage your glutes and lift your hips off the ground, forming a straight line from your knees to your shoulders.
- Hold for a moment at the top, then slowly lower your hips back down to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch legs.
Sets and reps
Hold each stretch for 20–40 seconds, breathing slowly, and repeat 2–3 times per side. Stretch to mild tension, never pain.
