V-Sit on Floor
The v-sit on floor is a bodyweight exercise that targets the abs, with the hip flexors assisting.

How to do the v-sit on floor
- Sit on the floor with your legs extended in front of you.
- Lean back slightly and lift your legs off the ground, keeping them straight.
- Simultaneously, lift your upper body off the ground and reach your arms towards your legs.
- Hold this position for a few seconds, then slowly lower your upper body and legs back down to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Sets and reps
Start with 3 sets of 10–15 reps, resting 45–60 seconds. When every set feels easy, add reps, slow the lowering phase or move to a harder variation.
