Band Reverse Wrist Curl
The band reverse wrist curl is a band exercise that targets the forearms, with the forearms assisting.
How to do the band reverse wrist curl
- Sit on a bench or chair with your feet flat on the ground.
- Hold the band with an overhand grip, palms facing down, and wrap it around your fingers.
- Rest your forearms on your thighs, with your wrists hanging off the edge.
- Slowly curl your wrists upward, squeezing your forearms.
- Pause for a moment at the top, then slowly lower your wrists back down to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Sets and reps
Start with 3 sets of 10–15 reps, resting 45–60 seconds. When every set feels easy, add reps, slow the lowering phase or move to a harder variation.
Muscles worked
The main muscle is the forearms. The forearms work as secondary muscles. See all forearm exercises or every resistance band exercise.
