Hands Bike
The hands bike is an upper body ergometer exercise that targets the chest (pectorals), with the triceps and shoulders assisting.

How to do the hands bike
- Adjust the seat height and handlebar position to a comfortable level.
- Sit on the ergometer with your back straight and feet on the pedals.
- Grasp the handles with your hands and position your arms at a 90-degree angle.
- Start pedaling with your hands, pushing and pulling the handles in a controlled motion.
- Continue pedaling for the desired duration or number of repetitions.
Sets and reps
For muscle growth, 3–4 sets of 8–12 reps with 60–90 seconds of rest is a proven starting point. For strength, use a heavier weight for 3–5 sets of 3–6 reps and rest 2–3 minutes. Add a little weight once you hit the top of your rep range on every set.
