Hamstring Stretch
The hamstring stretch is a bodyweight exercise that targets the hamstrings, with the glutes assisting.

How to do the hamstring stretch
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- Step forward with your right foot and shift your weight onto your right leg.
- Keeping your back straight, slowly bend forward at the hips, reaching towards your right foot with both hands.
- Hold the stretch for 20-30 seconds, then return to the starting position.
- Repeat on the other side.
Sets and reps
Hold each stretch for 20–40 seconds, breathing slowly, and repeat 2–3 times per side. Stretch to mild tension, never pain.
